Ctrl + E Shortcut: Center Align Text Quickly

Ctrl + E
The Ctrl + E shortcut is commonly used in word processors (e.g., Microsoft Word, LibreOffice Writer, Google Docs) to center-align the selected text or current paragraph. On macOS, the equivalent is usually Command + E.

In some browsers and apps (especially on Windows), Ctrl + E can also focus the browser’s search bar/omnibox, letting you type a query immediately.
💡 Pro Tip:
Use Ctrl + E to quickly format headings or subheads to the center. Press Ctrl + L for left align and Ctrl + R for right align to cycle layouts fast.
